Morning on Folly Beach. I saw the start of a sunrise, but it was quickly hidden by thick ribbons of storm clouds that rolled in. The beach is still empty— and probably will be until this storm rolls by. Folly Beach, SC looking north towards Charleston.
Wide, slow shot of the desert at night: star trails, moving clouds and contrails moving behind a chorus of Joshua Trees... all in black and white.
The burnt remains of a tree that didn’t survive a fire and the new vegetation growing around it. Captured at a low angle with a wide lens on a warm spring day in May. Black and white seemed to accentuate the wiry, twisted look of the tree, causing it to resemble a fire.
